One down, many more to come

 

We are back in Wartena (Friesland) and everything went quite well, we did our "maiden voyage" well. Yesterday we left the yard and that alone gave a sense of freedom.
Last night we spent at the edge of Groningen close to the lock.
We left this morning, later than intended because of thick fog but later it really was amazingly beautiful weather.
There was losts of ice, both in the canal and in the lakes we had to pas. The last part, near the harbor,d we really serve as icebreaker (through thick ice!) The picture is to prove that we were really middle of the water, with a beautiful sky.
